Hey everyone... having fun eh? Joanne, it's okay that you couldn't come. I totally understand. I might not be able to relate (ie. I don't have "midterms") but I get it. Maybe it'll still be there next week. Also, if you're free on Saturday we might go (I'm off on Sat.) Anyway, I was feeling really really really tired today, so I guess it all worked out.
Lily, why did you mention John Wu all of a sudden? Do you... like him? Or are you just trying to fit some more material in those bare entries you keep posting? You gotta admit, they are pretty short. If you can't come to PG with me, that's okay too. Does anyone else wanna come then?
So yeah... I asked the guy out. Haha... you didn't believe me, did you? Probably not, huh? Well, I almost did. He said that he thought he saw me on Saturday at Oakridge (which I was at) and that he was eating with his grandma at White Spot. He failed to mention anything about Chelsea, though, which may indicate that he's assuming Chels = my girlfriend. You know what I should've done? Okay, the convo went like this:
Him: Oh, I think I saw you at Oakridge on Saturday. Were you there?
Me: Oh, yeah, I was.
Him: Cuz I think I saw you leaving. I was having lunch with my grandma.
Me: Oh, then I think it was me.
Him: Yeah, I just saw someone with similar hair and I thought it might be you.
Me: Oh, okay.
[end of conversation]
The convo should have gone like this (I thought about it later):
Him: Oh, I think I saw you at Oakridge on Saturday. Were you there?
Me: Oh, yeah, I was.
HIm: Cuz I think I saw you leaving. I was having lunch with my grandma.
Me. Oh, then I think it was me. Was I with anyone?
Him: Yeah... your girlfriend maybe?
Me: Oh, no she's not my girlfriend. She's my friend who happens to be a girl.
Him. Oh, okay.
Me: Yeah, she already has a boyfriend... and plus I'm gay.
Him: ...Oh, okay. That's cool.
Me: [smiles] Yeah. Hey, I know we don't really talk or anything but um... do you want to go get coffee or better yet bubble tea sometime? Maybe?
Him: [smiles] Yeah, I think that'd be great.
[end of conversation]
SIgh... I get to see him tomorrow. Maybe I'll get to try that new convo with him. Haha... what am I saying?
I just got off the phone with Lileeeee and she's hysterical now that she found out I have to go to school during which we had planned to go trick-or-treating. Let me ask my teacher, okay? I'm pretty sure I can just skip the class anyway (it's the course where I don't know wha'ts going on!) Finally, I have yet to find a costume. I'm gonna try the Value Village near my house cuz I know they have huge aisles of costumes. Hmm... better start looking soon.
Ann: so what costume did you pick? Joanne's sound kinda... sketchy, no offense.
~~Aaron
Ps. Don't be mad LIly!
