I didn't mean to make you depressed Annie... i never said it would be easy to leave this place. In fact, a few weeks ago, I was so convinced that I wouldn't leave Vancouver, my family, and of course my friends. But lately, Maggie's been staying over at Bekki's a lot, and I guess I just thought about how we (you guys) only get together every month or so... if I were to leave, it would of course be hard, but not as hard as if I left say, last year.
Music update: last night, I received 2 $100 gift certificates towards recording time at a recording studio in North vancouver. I cannot believe it, to say the least. I know it might not mean that much to people or whatever, but I'm just so happy that my music is finally going somewhere. Also last night, I met this guy who complimented me on my show, saying it was really good. He told me he is in a band, and that they've toured around North America as opening acts with other bands like Evenescence (!!!!) and Three Days Grace, etc. And then we swapped phone numbers so that if I need any help with recording stuff or whatever (his dad's friend is involved in the music studio) then I could contact him and he could call me if he wants to "jam" or whatnot. Ahhhhh.... everything is suddenly moving so fast... and I can't wait for it.
I visited PG today and talked to Mr. Taylor, Ms. Comfy and Ms. Lardein. Then I walked around the school a bit; saw a lot of faces I hadn't seen before, and i have a good memory of faces. At one point I saw Jordan, but only the back of his head before he disappeared into the small gym, and I was surprised to not feel anything. It was just like... oh look it's Jordan... alrighty then! I went to look for Mr. Mey but he was already gone, so then I just left. I thought about visiting Lily too while I was at it, but decided better, since I don't know if she's still mad at me or not.
Anyway, I should call people now. Chels, i think we might need to talk.
