It's December in our town

Hey everyone. Hope you had a good trip, Joanne, and that your grandpa's doing alright. It's really snowing here right now, so much so that the Festival of Lights was closed for today, which was good, I guess. More snow to play in!

I'm suddenly trying to send my short film out to a ton of festivals. I made a giant list the day before I graduated (all on a spreadsheet on my computer) but a lot of them were already over for the year. A lot of other films are also submitted on this one site, withoutabox.com, but most have entry fees, and since I wasn't working at the time, I didn't enter any online. But now that I'm working and plus the sum of money I've been given for my birthday/christmas, I've found a lot more that I can enter, which is really exciting! At the same time, I have to tell one of guys back at VFS which festivals/competitions/contests I want to enter my film into before sending it in (the school owns the films and they won't broadcast the film on tv or anything, except on their youtube channel), which is a bit of a drawback because some deadlines are coming up and I don't know if the guy will respond in time for me to submit things. I guess we'll see though.

Wish I had more to say, but I don't. I still have to throw a snowball in Ann's face! When are you free for that, Ann? Or anyone, actually.
