Minutes to seconds

Wheeee... I'm at UBC right now as I type, sitting across from Lily and listening to Vanessa Carlton on my laptop. I saw He's Just Not That Into You yesterday at a matinee showing at Metrotown, and I know it's a chick-flick, but near the end when everyone was hooking up with everyone (you know the part), these group of girls were all gasping loudly at the apparent "sweetness" of some scenes, and it made me roll my eyes over and over again. My friend who I went to see it with (Lulu, my film partner), just told me, "They're girls." and yeah, okay fine, I get that, and I've seen my share of sweet moments on screen, but I don't gasp audibly (I'm pretty sure everyone in the theatre heard them -- they were that loud). I also saw Coraline on Saturday, which is a way better movie. Plus the 3D make things really cool... it's been a while since I saw anything in 3D.

Last week on Friday, I went in and had an interview with American Apparel and now I'm waiting to see if they'll call me back. I think it went okay (better than the one with Kai for the Bay... well, anything is better than that) but I'm not getting my hopes up. There were bunches of other people there that also got interviewed and they weren't dressed very formally at all; plus it looked like they had actual American Apparel stuff and not just one shirt like me. Oh well.

Joanne: I tried to get a hold of you on Saturday (or was it Sunday) to ask if you wanted to come by for the games night, and I left a message. But it's okay, since no one was able to show up.

Lily: I don't know what to say except I didn't know you hated Starbucks.

Chels: Hope you're doin okay! Games night fell apart because you weren't there... well, that and also people didn't come. I miss game nights with you! (and Dan)

Ann: Are you better yet? Also, what're you up to this weekend?
