So we're meeting on Saturday at my house at 1pm. Ann, if you're reading this, I hope you feel good enough to come by; if not, there's always next time. Lily is also apparently busy this weekend, but suggests maybe next weekend, since that's when reading break is. I don't really care either way.
It was kind of a warm day today; I was pleasantly surprised. I'm gonna go into American Apparel during their open call on Friday and see if maybe I can get a job there (they're shelves are always so organized!), since I still haven't gotten a call from that TV thing nor the Kerrisdale veterinary hospital (oh yeah, I applied there too). Sigh...
It was really awesome to see you on Saturday, Chels! You slightly scared me coming out of the closet... haha.
While I was downtown, this Mormon missionary came up to me and started talking to me about stuff. It didn't really bother me (surprisingly), but I really wanted to just debate to him about how his church could invest in the campaign for Prop 8, their views on gays, etc. But no. I really think I should next time. He mentioned how some people follow their religions blindly and don't question what's going on which was kind of ironic because I'm sure there are lots of Mormons who follow their religion by the book and everything is black and white to them. Ugh. I thought it was funny when he asked me how religious I was on a scale from 1 - 10 and I said 1, and he said, "What if I try and raise that to a 5?" Yeah, cuz I'm sure gay + believing in Mormonism is what you guys are all about. Haha Mormon boys are funny sometimes.
Anyhoo, that was my highlight of the day. Hope you're all either staying unsick or getting better (Ann!)...
Aaron
