It's okay that you can't come to the show, Chels. You're in another city, after all. I'll try and get someone to film it (I was thinking of using the camera from YouthCO since apparently it's okay to do other things with it) and then post it up on youtube or something. I'm so excited!
Good to hear about your placement, Lily. That must be so much more convenient.
Also awesome news, Chels! Now I'm really excited for April! Can't wait to see you! Hmm, but I guess everyone will be super busy and we won't be able to all hang out together... right?
For those that are going to see me play on the 8th, the time is apparently at 8:30, not 8:00... or so says the little box in the Xtra West newspaper where there's also a picture of me! Hahaha I knew from previous editions of the paper, they have pictures of the performers for their shows. So I picked up the newest edition today at the library, actually read the articles, until it came up to the little box featuring the performers for the next show... and there I was! I think I actually laughed out loud (but not like, howled or anything crazy. After all, I was still in the library). It was just kinda weird seeing a picture of myself in the paper. And then I got more excited after I saw it. I'll scan a copy of it and post it on my facebook event page and my myspace page... and maybe here too! (or you guys can just pick up a copy and see it for yourself)
I think that's about it for me. My plan to direct a short that I wrote is slowly getting there. Apparently I'm allowd to use the YouthCO camera (back to that) for that, as long as someone else isn't using it. Now I just need to find a few people and some equipment and we can finally get things rolling. Hurrah!
