Yay! Ann finally posted! Sucks that you can't make it to the show, but I'm going to try and get someone to film the show so that people who won't be able to come can see it on youtube. :)
Also sucks to hear about your love life. I didn't know you were going to Mexico!!! Ugh, I'm jealous. What're you and Lily doing next Friday (the 10th)? I'm going to hanging out with Chels and if you guys were available, I thought maybe we could all hang out and possibly have a games night.
My short film's been doing well; it now has a rating up on imdb (if you have an account and have seen it, you can vote for it!) and I got news that it's been accepted into another festival! I can't wait for that. I've also been taking a lot of books out from the library and reading, which makes me feel accomplished after.
Last night, I went to UBC to see a concert at the Chan Centre with Maggie. Kem was singing/conducting a piece (which, by the way, he was so... dramatic and awesome at doing. I was very much impressed and so, so, so proud of him for doing such a great job). It's been about 7 months since I last saw him, and I didn't tell him I was coming, so there was a chance he wouldn't exactly be thrilled to see me or want to talk to me. Fortunately, he actually came and talked with me after the show and even gave me a ride home; things weren't uncomfortable or awkward, really, and at the end of the night, I felt so much better about our relationship, probably the best I've felt since we broke up last year. He might also be coming to the show on Wednesday, which is kinda cool. It looks like we might actually start being friends again.
Oh, and thanks Ann. I wish my mom were as proud of me as you are, but I don't think she understands/knows what I'm doing. Thanks though! It really means a lot.
Aaron
