How did your L test go, Chels? Hope you did well!
Lily: How is everything with the show at the Norman Rothstein Theatre? Still need help?
We got our midterms for Spanish class back today and long story short, most of the class who got this one question wrong, got an extra half mark because they claimed they didn't know one of the words ("marido", which means husband) even though we did. I got kinda annoyed that these two girls sitting in front of me were really pushing to get a full mark because of it and then when I thought about it after class, I realized that not only did we cover it in class, but it was even on a quiz we wrote a few weeks ago. There wasn't really an excuse. I even wrote it down in my notebook! I ranted to Bekki about this and she said I should consider pointing the quiz thing out to my teacher next class while my mom told me to let it go... but it still pisses me off so much that they were so adamant that they had never seen that word before. I guess they were just really desperate for marks.
By the way, I got that question right (and got 94% on the exam which made me happy).
I'm gonna spend a bit googling up some events that'll be happening on Halloween. Everyone got a costume in mind/ready yet?
Oh right. After I finish this documentary short, I'm planning on shooting a script that I wrote that I hopefully will finish editing and everything by the end of the year. I want to get it sent around to film festivals like I did with On the Bus (which is now on VFS's youtube channel and is getting lots of hits). I can use the camera and sound stuff from YouthCO and I'm just seeing what else I might need... I think we might be filming in my room, haha. We'll see. Anyone want to help?
I think my computer is giving me brain damage... sometimes when I sit in front of it for a while, my head starts to hurt (ie. now). Hmm...
So I'll keep this short. Just a reminder that I have a show next Thursday on the 22nd at Trees again. See you guys then! (or earlier, perhaps?)
