hi whoever is reading this...... i wonder who reads our posts..?! :O
anyhow em so i am up late again... i honestly have not done this for a week or so because i have allowed myself to sleep, which was nice, but now i am so ridiculously behind i can't even explain it and even thinking about my classes just makes my blood pressure shoot up about 100 points (i think that's a lot, right? actually i think it's so much it doesn't even make sense but whatever, you guys know what i mean). omg i am so stressed right now thinking about school and such... AUGGGGH. this week is going to be the worst of it, though. worse than exam period, even, i think because i have tons of study time before exams so that should be alright...
i honestly am so sad at this moment because i know i am going to basically not sleep whatsoever until thursday :( sigh..... SIGH
what is everyone up to? school stuff?
i am done with the co-op club stuff for now (until next term) which is good because i so need the extra time!
tired... can't even think anymore :P

Fireflies
Hey everyone,
Woke up earlier than I thought I would and thought I'd post something.
Yeah, I'm also just looking forward to the end of term. It seems like this term is going on longer than last term... probably due to my dreading every Computer Science class now.
Lily (and Joanne): I finally got your present yesterday. Thanks so much! I really like the card (I didn't know Pete Wentz = emo neanderthal, but I can imagine it!)
Going to see Dan Savage tomorrow, which I'm excited about. I've seen all his youtube videos and a lot of his other vids and think he's awesome.
About birthday plans: how does the 12th or 13th next month sound? There's a chance I might be working at Van Dusen on those days (oh yeah, they phoned and asked if I wanted to work again and of course I said yes!) so I'm not sure but I just wanted to check with people first.
I had a weird dream about how I was lacking Vitamin C or something and it made me faint while me and Kem + a whole bunch of other people were in an auditorium. Then he finally realized I was on the floor and called out for help and this nurse came and injected me with something... there was also this other part about zombie-type people and how there were old buses running (like the super old, Classic ones) and how the #20 bus was now called the #20 Quebec street bus (which is a street near Langara). Weird.
Anyhoo, we should all hang out sometime again! How about next weekend?

Busy End of Term
Hi guys,
So there's basically a month left of school this term..! It's my last first term of my degree (well, HOPEFULLY) so in a way it's special kind of. Not that special, though... but it makes me feel like I'm almost done... which is scary. (I only have three school terms left, including the one we are doing right now.)
Anyhow, I am so... full of homework it's crazy. I don't even know how to explain it. I have an assignment due next week, four reports due (these take me like... 12 hours to do each!) in a couple weeks, a huge group paper next week... fortunately, I finished two quizzes today (on-line) so that's good... I don't know. I mean, for two of my courses (the non-lab ones) I am doing pretty well so far (as in, I did well on the midterms which were 30% of my mark), but for my lab courses, my mark is more based on written reports etc soooooo I still have a lot to do :( sigh
I am sure you guys are all busy too. Hopefully everything is going well :)
Aaron, you should pin down a date for your birthday party! I know Lily is leaving immediately after her exams end... but when are your exams done? I have an exam on the 15th, the 16th, and the 21st, so the 18th should be fine with me if that works for you.

Hooray for storms!
At the moment, I am verrrryyy slowly working on an essay for English class, but it's okay because I'm writing about music in films, both topics which I'm really comfortable and pretty knowledgeable about, so I'm fine. Also, it's due next week and I'm being a nerd and getting to it early.
About a week ago, I found out one of my screenplays that I submitted to a competition placed 9th out of 46, which was really exciting. Definitely made me feel better as a writer, going up against so many people.
The short film project's kinda going badly. I'm not sure what to do. My friend who was going to audition isn't going to anymore because his mom found the sides (audition material), freaked out, and took away his computer for a day. She was apparently saying he shouldn't be doing "outrageous" things and "what would people think of our family?!?!" which I think is kinda lame. So I'm not sure...
Lily: Are you free this Friday in the afternoon? Maybe I can get Joanne's present from you then?
Don't really have much else to say... hope you're all staying away from swine flu!
