At the moment, I am verrrryyy slowly working on an essay for English class, but it's okay because I'm writing about music in films, both topics which I'm really comfortable and pretty knowledgeable about, so I'm fine. Also, it's due next week and I'm being a nerd and getting to it early.
About a week ago, I found out one of my screenplays that I submitted to a competition placed 9th out of 46, which was really exciting. Definitely made me feel better as a writer, going up against so many people.
The short film project's kinda going badly. I'm not sure what to do. My friend who was going to audition isn't going to anymore because his mom found the sides (audition material), freaked out, and took away his computer for a day. She was apparently saying he shouldn't be doing "outrageous" things and "what would people think of our family?!?!" which I think is kinda lame. So I'm not sure...
Lily: Are you free this Friday in the afternoon? Maybe I can get Joanne's present from you then?
Don't really have much else to say... hope you're all staying away from swine flu!
